Maggie Moran
Adjunct Faculty

Moran is currently campaign manager for Governor Jon S. Corzine's re-election campaign. She served previously as deputy chief of staff in the Office of Governor Corzine, following her tenure as a senior advisor to Corzine’s first gubernatorial campaign. She served as state director of his U.S. Senate office in New Jersey from 2002-2005 and in the same capacity for Senator Frank Lautenberg from 1998 to 2000.

Moran began her political career in 1996 as an assistant to the chairman of the New Jersey State Democratic Party, and later as director of operations of the Clinton/Gore presidential campaign. Following the campaign, she became political director of the Democratic State Committee, where she remained until 1997. She also served as New Jersey campaign director of Gore for President and Victory 2001, the state Democratic Party’s coordinated campaign.

Moran graduated from Douglass College at Rutgers in 1996 with a degree in political science. She received a mini-MBA from Rutgers in 2003 and served as an adjunct professor at Rutgers in the School of Journalism and Media Arts. She is a former board member on the New Jersey Community Development Corporation and PAM’s List. As a visiting professor at the Eagleton Institute of Politics, she co-teaches an undergraduate political campaigning course with Michael DuHaime.
