Loredana Cromarty is executive director of US state government affairs for Allergan plc, a global pharmaceutical company. Previously, Cromarty was founder and principal of L&P Strategies, a government relations and public affairs firm, where she represented Fortune 500 clients and project management firms and conducted public policy research for a blue ribbon commission. She has served as executive director of the Christine Todd Whitman Excellence in Public Service Series, a governmental and political leadership training program for women.
From 1994 to 2002, Cromarty was the chief of staff and legislative director for then-NJ State Senator Leonard Lance, who now represents District 7 in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has served on the faculties for two programs of Eagleton's Center for American Women and Politics: NEW Leadership™ and Ready to Run®. She is a former board member of HomeFront, a non-profit agency providing a comprehensive network of services for the poor and homeless in Mercer County, New Jersey. She also served on the board of New Jersey Future, a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting responsible land-use policies to revitalize towns and cities in New Jersey by using research, analysis and advocacy.
Most recently, Cromarty completed her tenure as co-chair of the Alumni Leadership Council at the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government. An advocate for the rights of children who are deaf or hard of hearing, Cromarty is frequently invited as a guest speaker at symposia on hearing loss, including at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Hunterdon Medical Center, and serves as a consultant for families with hearing impaired children. She has served as vice chair of the board of the Summit Speech School, which provides children who are deaf or hard of hearing with educational and therapeutic support services.
Cromarty holds a master's degree in governmental administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government and earned a dual degree in political science and French from Drew University.
