Growing in Giving: New Jersey Gives
  An Update on the State of Philanthropy in New Jersey, a third report by the Council of New Jersey Grantmakers of giving in New Jersey.  As a state that ranks 2nd in the nation for per capita income, it ranks 34th for average giving per giver.

  This Oct. 20, 2005 editorial in The Star-Ledger cites a Rutgers' Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling study that shows improvement in the Motor Vehicle Commission (formerly the DMV).
