RICHARD ZEOLI

As a professional public speaker, Richard Zeoli has spent 15 years helping today's leaders become truly effective communicators. He is the founder and president of Richard Zeoli Communications and author of the groundbreaking “Seven Principles of Public Speaking” audio CD. Since the 1992 release of his "Speaking with Ease" training course, Richard has been instrumental in advising high-level business executives, national television personalities, major political leaders and corporate sales teams. He has helped some of the most important leaders in both the public and private sector prepare for television, radio, and print interviews, and he has worked with sales teams, entrepreneurs, and successful businesses to dramatically improve their sales presentations.

Richard has served as the director of the Office of Television and Radio in the New Jersey Governor's Office, speechwriter to prominent political leaders, communications consultant to several major federal and state political campaigns, and as a surrogate speaker for a major Presidential campaign. At the time of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, while working in the office of then-New Jersey Governor Donald T. DiFrancesco, Richard played a role in the post 9/11 communications effort of the Governor's office. Richard has spoken before audiences ranging in size from several hundred to several thousand. He has appeared nationally on ABC Nightline, MSNBC, and CSPAN's Washington Journal and has provided commentary on National Public Radio and on New York, Washington, D.C., and New Jersey national news affiliates. In addition, he has given print interviews to major publications including the The New York Times, The Washington Post, Congressional Quarterly, New York Post, and the Star Ledger.

In 2003, Richard was elected the Sussex County Republican chairman – the youngest chairman of a county political party in New Jersey history. His groundbreaking “Seven Principles of Public Speaking” audio CD was released in July 2007 and will be featured nationally on Amazon.com.
