ELIZABETH RANDALL

Elizabeth (Lisa) Randall has long been a leader in county and state government in New Jersey. She was assistant counsel to the Governor and then deputy attorney general in the administration of Governor Thomas Kean. In 1985, she was elected to the New Jersey General Assembly, where she served until 1991. She served subsequently as Bergen County counsel, and then as commissioner of banking and insurance under Governor Christine Todd Whitman.

Randall was vice president of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority from 1998- 1999 before returning to the post of Bergen County Counsel. In 2003, she was elected to the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders, where she served until December 2006. She is now a partner in the law firm of Randall, Randall & Stevens and a member of the board of directors of Columbia Bank. She also serves on the boards of Westwood Senior Citizen Housing Corporation, the New Jersey Women’s Political Caucus and Women United in Philanthropy. She is treasurer of the Northeast Republican Organization.

Randall earned her undergraduate degree in government at Smith College and her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.
