  Support for Eagleton’s popular lecture series featuring nationally prominent political leaders, journalists, analysts and scholars addressing timely and enduring issues.
 
Women's Political Leadership
  Expansion of pioneering programs at the Center for American Women and Politics designed to educate new generations of women for public leadership, support cutting-edge scholarly research on women's political participation, and track and publicize women's status as voters, candidates and officeholders.
 
Program on Immigration and Democracy
  Creation of a Program on Immigration and Democracy, examining how new immigrants and the American polity are transforming one another..
 
Young People's Politics
  Expansion of civic engagement research and action projects that reach out to young people.
 
Advanced Training in Polling
 

Development of new opportunities for education and hands-on experience in survey research for students through the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling.
 

Undergraduate Awards for the Study and Practice of Politics
  Establishment of a flexible fund for internships and other projects to help Rutgers students reach beyond the classroom, learn through experience about the practice of politics, and develop their own applied research projects.
 
Internships
  Establishment of paid internships for undergraduate and graduate students in governmental agencies and advocacy organizations, affording students from all socioeconomic levels the chance to learn from hands-on experience.
 
Emerging Issues in American Politics
 

Creation of a fund to support programs that enhance knowledge and public debate about emerging issues in politics and government.
 

Building a Building
  Expansion of Eagleton's space through design and construction of an addition with new office space and meeting rooms, linking Wood Lawn with its Carriage House.
